The Vans Akat LX x Taka Hayashi sneaker is the product of Japanese designer and ex-patriot Taka Hayashi, who is now based in Santa Monica, California. This sneaker is a representation of Hayashi’s art, depicting his favorite skate scene.
This sneaker is dressier and can be worn in more formal occasions. At first glance, the Vans Akat LX x Taka Hayashi sneaker looks like a moccasin, usually worn by the Indian, and which has attracted a lot of people from different nationalities.
The sneaker has two colorways, tan and brown. It has a triangular design on the side panels, with white stitching for the tan sneaker, and brown stitching for the brown sneaker.
This is a casual sneaker you can wear not just for rugged moments, but for events where you have to wear something with a kick.
These kicks are my favorite for the Fall 09 season. I'm not a "sneakerhead" but I do love a sweet pair of kicks. Knowing Vans put these out, they have a LA feel to them, and I can definitely wear these dressed up or to a family gathering to make my relatives jock. Here is another style I might have to cop...
AKAT Fossil (so fresh)
Thanks to my girl for granting my wish...Off to the next fresh pair of kicks!
